ACEO Trade: Qilin of Clubsby *ZeitgeistDragon

This is my part of an ACEO trade with

This is her Purple Qilin .I drew it on a 2.5inx3.5in piece of watercolor paper and colored it with 1.0mm ball point pens(not gels) EXCEPT, white gel pen to enhance the highlighted areas. And didn't really want to try to squeeze in a background for fear of ruining it's glory,so i did a boarder.

I tried my best to get the anatomy right and shading. Also the proportions too but, i'm not as sure about that part. I think i may have made the back leg too big and the body might be too long but i was trying to consider the pose it was in too so, i'm not sure.It's also a little crooked too and the scanner didn't do it much justice either.When i did the boarder,I just thought, if this Qilin could only be of one suit in poker cards, It would be of clubs. All and all i'm quite pleased with how it turned out and i hope she likes it.

Now to finish a long over due trade with someone else.

) I hate that u cant write real short reviews lol.... ok lets see mystic....pretty as a peacock. fierce in the eyes ok i'll just say that this picture is awesome.I was wondering because I see talent here would you like to join in my contest? This piece looks really mythology like it really says something sorry for my funny critique xD so yea read my journal entry and reply and It would be really cool for a artist of ur talent to join my contest.I dont say much in critiques so yep this is my first contest I wrote up my next one is in July.
