AT: Mer- I finally haz my wingz!!by *ZeitgeistDragon

Traditional Art / Drawings / Fantasy

Edit 12-8-12: i went back and touched it up a bit.

Edit entry 10-13-12: Finally!! another epic full BG pic! ......It's been a minute since ive put this much effort in a pic with full color. I also went back and fixed up the lighting and colors today.

I used mostly color pencils. For the out lines and some of the darkest shaded spots on the dragon, i used some pens and markers over the color pencil to help me get smoother colors, cleaner finish and sharper image.

This is my part of an art trade with

of her dragonsona, Mer. Since her dragonsona doesn't have wings, i thought i'd draw her with some.

This will also be for Traditional-Art-Only's Group October Challenge "Blue" [link]

Lately ive been doing anatomy from memory, but this time i did some heavy referencing....mainly of KatePfeilschiefter's anatomy chart here--> [link] as well as anatomy charts of real animals.

It took me about 16hrs to finish this pic.
