I'm really really happy with this piece on many levels! The anatomy turned out great, the lighting,shading, and colors. I want to hug this pic! I luz it!

I used plain markers to do the flat coloring on the creature itself. Then i used water color to do the shading. Some black and blue pen to enhance the outlines on the shaded areas. Then some white gel pen to touch up the highlighted areas. The background is water color paint, with just a small dab of marker on some of the dark spots(blended up with water so you really can't tell).

I like this OC a lot. He was really fun to draw. ......Hmmmmm, he is supposed to be a mix of shark, dog, dinosaur,cat, ect,of course his anatomy is more feline than k-9. So i guess he's really just another modern dragon, or drake rather, since he does not have wings.
