Ever left opened mayo out?

I opened the seal, squeezed some out of it's bottle right quick and closed it immediately. I forgot to put it in the fridge though, and I just bought it. It sat out for 4 1/2 hours, and from what I've read online, it should be fine.(i put it back in the fridge when i realized it)

What do you guy's think though? Ever had any issues with that? I would think that with vinegar and lemon juice in it, it should be fine.
